Krafton Company has now made the BGMI 2.9 update live, which has created a wave of excitement in the gaming community in India. Following its release just after 8am on December 1st, iPhone and iPad users can now access the latest version of the game directly from the App Store. Android users have also started receiving the update but some users are yet to get it.

The game developer has shared new features, improvements, and rewards on the official Battlegrounds Mobile India website. This update also brings India’s biggest superstar “Ranveer Singh” to the game for more excitement.
What’s New In The BGMI 2.9 Update?
- Permanent Rewards: Now, when you play the game and complete missions in the Erangel map, you can get rewards that will not expire. These awards will stay with you forever.
- Ice and Snow Festival: This is a special winter mode in the game. You’ll find a new place called Ice and Snow Town, plus fun winter things like a special ice gun and snowboards. It’s all about winter fun with Christmas decorations, reindeer and special gifts.
- Ranveer Singh Discovery Event: Famous Indian actor Ranveer Singh is now a part of BGMI. When you play normal game mode, you can collect points. If you perform well, you get special Ranveer Singh items like a parachute. If you collect 3000 points, you can get Ranveer Singh’s special voice and a picture of him for your game.
- X-Suit Carnival: This event brings back three X-Suits that players previously loved, and also adds a new, secret one. It’s a fancy show with a lot of style.
- Royale Pass A3 – Freaky Fiesta: This new pass gives you different rewards that you can’t get anywhere else. For example, you can get a unique crossbow called the Circus of Screams and a dance you can do if you win.
Frozen Kingdom theme mod is only for Erangel, Vikendi and Livik. Other maps, such as Miramar, Nusa, Sanhok and Karakin, do not have any theme mode feature.
