Google Messages app is coming with a newly designed text field. The new text field will provide a shortcut bar that will let users access emoji, magic compose, gallery and more options even while typing on their smartphone.
In the older design the buttons would hide as the user typed more text, but in the new design the buttons remained visible. Voice Memos is not available in the text field, but it is outside the text field and has a new look.
A new feature called Moods has been added to the voice recorder. Users can change their voice effects as per their mood. According to some users, the text field alignment does not match the message bubble.
At the moment, the new design is not available to all users, but beta users can experience it on their smartphones.
