Although the exact name of the phone has been kept under wraps, Realme’s collaboration with Qualcomm is set to introduce “unprecedented imaging technologies.” The big reveal is scheduled to take place on January 10, 2024 in Las Vegas, USA.

There is speculation that this much-awaited smartphone with periscope camera will be Realme 12 Pro+. This notion is strengthened by the fact that the Realme 12 Pro+ was recently spotted on TENAA, a Chinese certification site. Along with its specs, images of the Realme 12 Pro+ and Realme 12 Pro were also revealed, peaking the interest of tech enthusiasts.

Realme’s latest smartphones, the RMX3841 and RMX3843, have recently been certified by TENAA, and now their full specifications are out, confirming that they are the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+.
Externally, both models feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 1080p resolution. These have a triple-camera setup at the back and a single front-facing camera. The main difference between the two lies in their chipset and camera specifications.
Realme 12 Pro Specification:
- Processor: Realme 12 Pro is powered by 2.2 GHz CPU.
- Camera Setup: It has a triple-camera array on the back with a 50 MP main sensor, a 32 MP secondary sensor for 2x optical zoom portrait shots, and an 8 MP ultra-wide lens. The front camera has a 16-megapixel sensor.
- Memory Options: The device offers four different types of RAM – 6GB, 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB, and comes with multiple storage options – 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Details on how these configurations will be combined are still pending.
Realme 12 Pro+ Specifications:
- Body and display: The dimensions of the Realme 12 Pro+ are similar to the 12 Pro, measuring 161.5 x 74 x 8.8 mm and weighing 190 grams, suggesting the same 10-bit OLED display and battery setup.
- Processor: It is equipped with a 2.4 GHz CPU, which is likely matched with the Snapdragon 7S Gen 2 chipset.
- Camera Setup: The camera configuration includes a 64 MP primary sensor, a 50 MP sensor (possibly equipped with a periscope lens for advanced zoom capabilities), and an 8 MP sensor. This setup is similar to the realme GT5 Pro flagship.
