Yesterday, Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 series, which includes the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. These models are a tech enthusiast’s dream, packed with advanced AI features under the banner of ‘Galaxy AI’. Unique to this series, they run on Android 14, topped with the One UI 6.1 interface, which is a step ahead of other Samsung devices currently running One UI 6.

For those who own older Samsung models, there is exciting news. Samsung has confirmed that their AI features will be rolling out to select older devices. The initiative will refurbish models such as the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5 and the Galaxy Tab S9 series. These devices are confirmed to receive the AI update in the first half of the year.

An update to One UI 6.1 is probably expected by the end of June. It promises to bring a host of AI features that debuted in the S24 series to these older models. However, it is important to note that although many features will be included, not all of the S24 features will be included in these models. The specific features that will be included are still under wraps, but rest assured, we’ll keep you updated as more details emerge.
