Chinese smartphone tech giant OnePlus recently released a new software update for the OnePlus 12R. As we know, the phone comes with December security patch but this update brings February security patch. This update is based on OxygenOS 14. If we talk about the build number, the build number of the update is CPH2585_14.0.0.500 (EX01). This size of this update is 1.23GB.

How to do a Local Update?

To do local update, first you have to open Settings -> About device -> Click on the blue OxygenOS version box. Then you have to tap on the three dots present at the top right. There you will see three options. Of those three, you have to click on Local Update. After this select the update package you downloaded.

Note: If you haven’t seen the Local Updates option, you just need to enable Developer Options by tapping the Build Number 7 times
