Recently, Nothing has started rolling out the second update for its newly launched Nothing phone (2A). If we talk about the changelog, the changelog of this update is listed below:
This update is based on NothingOS 2.5.3, Android 14. The new update brings 10 new ringtones that are exclusive to Nothing Phone (2A). Nothing also adds a recorder widget that can be added to the phone’s home and lock screens (2a). Furthermore, Nothing has also added 3 different levels of haptic feedback i.e. low, medium and high. Additionally, the newly launched Nothing Phone (2A) lets you create unique AI wallpapers with the help of Wallpaper Studio.
The background management of the phone (2a) has also been improved. There is also nothing added to the shortcut widget for the camera app that can be easily added to widgets. This camera widget is very useful, first of all you have to customize the mode like Photo, Video, Portrait, Time-lapse, Pano, Expert, Slo-mo by tapping on the edit icon of the camera widget. Along with this, you can also choose the lens like front camera or rear camera (wide and ultra-wide).
There’s also an option to choose an equivalent focal length in the widget’s advanced settings. If we talk about some more options that are available in the advanced settings, you can also enable or disable HDR, change the resolution and frame rate of the video, action mode, flash, etc. Later, Nothing has also improved the opening speed of the camera app.
This update also fixed the pedometer widget restarting after changing time zones. Additionally, this update has also fixed the issue that caused WhatsApp to crash in certain situations. Nothing phone (2a) is also great which is 6 hours and 29 minutes. We get this SOT (Screen on Time) in the second cycle without any heavy tasking.
Since this is a hotfix update and the size of the update is only 14.21 MB, don’t expect more features or new add-ons.
