Samsung is rolling out a new update with the December 2023 security patch for its Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphones in the US. Currently, the update is only for locked models of the S23 FE on Verizon network carriers, while for other carriers, it will be available in a few days or weeks.
The update for the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE in the US comes with One UI build version S711USQU1BWK6. The rollout may take some time to reach your devices.
The update fixes over 60 security issues related to buffer overflow, Knox Custom Service, Knox Guard, Smart Manager, AR Emoji, bootloader, and Contacts.
For now, the security patch is limited to Samsung Galaxy S23 FE models, but soon the Korean tech giant will expand this patch to other models as well. Users can update their Galaxy S23 FE by tapping on Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
