Asus has officially teased its upcoming flagship smartphone, the “ROG Phone 8” on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle @ASUS_ROG . We can see a faded white smartphone in the image and a camera bump with the name of the phone.

The ROG Phone 8 features a new back design with a unique pentagon-shaped camera island that houses three camera sensors and an LED flash. Another notable feature is the side-mounted USB port that has been adapted from last year’s ROG Phone 7 series.

Information leaked on Geekbench has revealed that the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and will be equipped with 24GB of RAM. Adding to its high-end specifications, the phone has also received 65W charging certification from China’s 3C agency, which promises quick battery recharge times.

The ROG Phone 8 series is scheduled to be released in early 2024. The lineup is anticipated to include the standard ROG Phone 8 model and the more advanced ROG Phone 8 Pro.
