Krafton is all set to release the next update of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) in India very soon. As of now, the existing theme mode Zombie Age has been removed from BGMI version 2.8. Now the game developer will try its best to release the next theme mode called Frozen Kingdom.
The current update had several issues, such as lag, frame drops, and voice glitches. Even iPhones were lagging in this update and many players were disappointed because of this.
BGMI 2.9 Update Release Date
The PUBG Mobile 2.9 update was released on November 9th. According to some BGMI creators, BGMI 2.9 update is expected to be released on November 28. A notable BGMI content creator on YouTube has confirmed the release date in his recent video.
However, there is no confirmation from Krafton yet, but a new update is always released no matter how much the theme mode is removed from the current update.
But recently, Crafton has posted some Instagram reels about BGMI 2.9 update, where they are going to do a podcast for the upcoming update. Basically, they will explain what’s new in the update like new guns, modes, features, and more.

In the Instagram Reel above, you can see it saying at the end, “Update 2.9 is coming.” So this confirms the update.

The new BGMI 2.9 update is going to bring many new in-game features like Snow Blast Zone, Snowball Blaster, and Snowboard. There will be ‘Snow Toddlers’ quest for exciting challenges.
The update will bring snow bombs and players into snowmen in red areas. Reindeer and snowboards will be available for players to roam around the map.
Additionally, the 2.9 update will optimize the game as well as improve the reporting system, improve firearms and vehicles.
