Nothing’s sub-brand CMF by Nothing launched a smartwatch called CMF Watch Pro a few months ago. The watch and its apps have received a lot of updates since its launch. CMF has released another update for both the CMF Watch Pro and its app.
The CMF Watch app has received a new update version 2.2.15, and the Watch Pro has also received a firmware update to version 11.0.0.47 with an update size of 12.6 MB. The update brings improvements to some features and functions of the Watch Pro, along with some new watch faces.
How to update the CMF Watch Pro
Go to Play Store and update the CMF Watch app. Then open the CMF Watch app and go to Device page > Update Device > Start Update. Please make sure your Watch Pro is at least 40% charged before updating.
Changes with the update
- The CMF Watch app now offers the option to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats for the Watch Pro. This is applicable for all watch faces.
- Go to My section and then tap the Settings icon in the top right corner.
- Then turn on/off the 24 hour time toggle.
2. Added support for imperial units, which can be switched from the app. You can switch between imperial units for weight and length/distance measurements: cm, km, or feet, miles for length, and lb or kilogram for weight. The change will be implemented through the app interface and Watch UI.
Follow these steps to switch between imperial units on your CMF Watch Pro:
- Go to My section and then tap the Settings icon in the top right corner.
- After this tap on Unit Settings.
- You can now switch between imperial units for length and weight.
3. Added support for switching between Fahrenheit and Celsius units for temperature. The temperature unit we use makes the change for all watch faces that show weather information and also the weather section of the app.
Follow these steps to change the temperature unit in your Watch Pro –
- Go to My section and then tap on the Settings icon in the upper right corner
- After this tap on Unit Settings.
- You can now choose between Fahrenheit and Celsius as temperature units.
4. CMF has added support for four new languages for the Watch Pro. The four languages are Czech, Romanian, Bulgarian and Polish.
Follow these steps to change the temperature unit in your Watch Pro –
- To change the language of your Watch Pro.
- Tap the Menu button on the watch.
- Scroll down and tap Settings.
- Open Languages and scroll down to choose your preferred language.
- Then tap the tick icon to apply it to Watch Pro.
5. Improved accuracy of weather data display. The weather is now properly synced with the phone.
6. The Watch Pro now has an optimized display for the music control interface. The volume control has been improved and is now easier to use.
7. They have also improved the speed of the smartphone camera remote. Earlier there used to be a delay of 2 seconds, which has now reduced.
8. The Watch Pro also gets three new watch faces: two digital and one multi-function. The new watch faces display a lot of information and fitness data, such as the number of steps and heart rate.
9. The changelog also details refinements to various text fields and fixes to some known issues.
This was a much-awaited update for CMF Watch Pro users, as it was announced earlier but was not released due to some issues. CMF has worked on users’ feedback and brought some of the important and most sought-after features, like the option to choose between time format and temperature unit. New watch dials have also been added as per user demand. CMF is working hard to provide the best experience with Watch Pro.
However, some major issues still exist with the Watch Pro, such as having to have the CMF Watch app in the background or you won’t receive notifications. The watch also has connection issues, and is missing some basic features, like tapping twice to wake. CMF is constantly taking feedback from users and will definitely work on these issues and fix them with future updates.
