The Vivo iQOO sub-brand launched the ‘iQOO 12’ in India a few days ago and it is now available for purchase. Starting at noon local time, customers can purchase this advanced device via Amazon.in and iQOO’s official Indian website.
iQOO 12 comes in two variants which are Alpha and Legend. It offers two memory configurations – a 12GB/256GB model priced at Rs 52,999 and a more robust 16GB/512GB variant priced at Rs 57,999. Additionally, customers can avail various offers to get up to Rs 5,000 off on both the models.
Hailed as India’s first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the iQOO 12 is a testament to the brand’s commitment to bringing cutting-edge technology to its users. It runs on Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 right out of the box. Additionally, iQOO promises three years of Android version upgrades and four years of security updates, with monthly security updates released for the first three years.
The smartphone comes with a 6.78″ 144Hz LTPO AMOLED display with 2800 x 1260 pixels resolution. It is equipped with a large 5,000 mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging, ensuring fast power-up. For photography enthusiasts, the iQOO 12 offers a powerful triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera. The 16MP front camera meets the needs of selfies and video calls.
Other notable features of the iQOO 12 include an in-display fingerprint scanner for better security, stereo speakers for immersive audio, and the innovative supercomputing chip Q1, adding to its appeal as a top-tier smartphone in the Indian market.
