This morning, Nothing officially released Nothing OS 2.5.1 stable update based on Android 14 for Nothing Phone (2) non-beta users. The stable release was released to users participating in the Open Beta program a few days ago. The update was supposed to be released earlier but the rollout was stopped due to some issues and lack of support.

Now this update is released for all Nothing Phone (2) users with OS version 2.0.4 via OTA. The size of the update is 1.13 GB and it is an incremental update for phone (2) users of Android 13 to Android 14 versions.

How to update phone (2) to Nothing OS 2.5.1

  1. Go to Settings > System > System Updates.

2. Click on Download and Install and the update will start downloading.

3. After downloading, tap on ‘Restart Now’ and your phone will restart and then upgrade to Nothing OS 2.5.1 based on Android 14.

The update brings a number of new features and improvements to the device’s performance as well as customization, glyph interface, gestures, new widgets, and the overall user interface.

This is a major update for those phone (2) users who did not participate in the open beta program as they are getting the update after waiting for a long time. This update brings many new features that enhance the user experience and add a feel of nothing to the OS. This update also brings several improvements in the efficiency and stability of the smartphone.
