Nothing Company has finally started rolling out the second update Nothing OS 2.5.4 for the phone (2A). The smartphone was launched earlier this month and had some performance issues, although it received its first update, Nothing OS 2.5.3, on the same day we got it in our hands. Still, the case was still the same so the company had to release a new update as its newly launched smartphone was receiving criticism.
This new update brings several improvements and bug fixes to the Nothing Phone (2A). Users can recognize this update by its firmware version Nothing OS 2.5.4 and its 77.29 MB size. Installation will take 5-10 minutes. The build number of this update is Pacman-U2.5-240315-0035-IND.

The Nothing OS 2.5.4 update for phones (2A) will focus on camera, general improvements, and bug fixes to deliver a better user experience.
Firstly, photography enthusiasts can expect better color accuracy and saturation, ensuring that photos come out with vibrancy and life. Ultra HDR photos are precisely tuned for optimal brightness and tone, making every shot masterpiece-worthy.
Portrait mode is now improved with better Bokeh effect for greater subject focus. One notable improvement is the color consistency optimization between the main and ultra-wide cameras. Overall, camera performance has been boosted, promising faster and more reliable captures.
Talking about improvements, the Nothing Phone (2a) had issues with gaming especially BGMI. It was not providing smooth gaming, not even going above 30-40 fps. But now this problem has been fixed in the new update. Other games will also be optimized for a better experience.
App launch and exit animations have been optimized to reduce stuttering, giving users a seamless experience navigating through their tasks. The recorder widget animation has also been enhanced for more visual interaction.
The update fixes several issues for smooth operation. This resolves the flickering issue observed when launching apps from the lock screen and fixes abnormal display of the home screen and lock screen wallpaper. Incorrect Wi-Fi or cellular data information display in Quick Settings has been fixed, as well as an issue with the screen going black during an incoming call under certain conditions. Improving system stability is part of the package, ensuring a more reliable and error-free experience.
