Checking the credibility of this leak, another source on Twitter, who initially brought the phone (2A) to light, shared an image of a prototype. The image showcases the dual-camera setup, complemented by an LED light, marking the phone (2A) as a more wallet-friendly option among Nothing’s gadgets.

Interestingly, the camera is surrounded by three Glyph LED light strips. Although smaller than Phone (1) and Phone (2), they retain functionality for app notifications and integration.
In terms of performance, the phone (2a) is rumored to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC which is an octa-core processor. This chip has two high-frequency Cortex-A715 cores clocked at 2.8GHz and six Cortex-A510 cores, combined with the Mali G610 MC4 GPU to ensure smooth visual performance.
Another addition to this coverage is that the phone (2A) is referred to by the codename “Pacman”, in line with Nothing’s tradition of naming its devices after classic video games. Phone (1) was nicknamed “Spacewar” and phone (2) was dubbed “Pong”.
The tech community is eagerly awaiting the official launch of the Nothing Phone (2A), which is expected to take place during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February 2024. Nothing have announced a concert in Barcelona on 27 February, titled “Nothing to See”. Which could be the unveiling of the phone (2A).
