Samsung has released a new update for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 with the December 2023 security patch in the US. It is really good to know that this security patch is available not only for unlocked models but also for locked models of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2.
The security patch fixes security issues that users faced in the previous version of the device. No new features or changes can be seen, but the update makes the device more reliable as well as more secure.
Talking about the December 2023 security patch, the company recently revealed last week that it comes with 75 fixes for known vulnerabilities, 54 of which were from Google software.
Users can identify updates for both models by their firmware versions:
- Locked Model: F916U SQ 5KW K1
- Unlocked Model: F916U1 SQS5KWK1
