Last October, Samsung revealed the Galaxy S23 FE, which offers two versions of the device. One version runs on the Exynos 2200 SoC, and the other is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. Until now, the Snapdragon variant was only available in the US, with other regions including India getting the Exynos model. However, this situation may change soon as the Snapdragon model of the Galaxy S23 FE is expected to launch in India.

Leading Indian e-commerce platform Flipkart has hinted at this upcoming release. They posted an image in the “Upcoming Launches” section on their website. The image, which was previously used for the Indian launch of the S23 FE in October, displays the phrases “The New Epic” and “Coming Soon.” While the teaser does not specifically mention the Snapdragon version of the Galaxy S23 FE, given that the Exynos version is already available in India, it is believed that this promotion is for the Snapdragon model.

Barring chip differences, both variants of the Galaxy S23 FE share similar specifications. Whichever model consumers choose, they will get a phone with a 6.4-inch 120Hz FullHD+ Dynamic AMOLED screen, a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 25W charging, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The camera setup is also the same for both models, with a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, an 8MP telephoto camera, and a 10MP selfie camera.

This anticipated launch is important for Samsung fans in India who prefer the Snapdragon version, giving them an alternative to the Exynos version.
